ATOPY SCHOOLS Because atopic dermatitis (severely dry skin) affects 20% of children and their quality of life*, La Roche-Posay provides support to these children and their parents through its 80 Atopy Workshops in over 23 countries.
This initiative provides learning workshops where patients and families can get up to speed on the best treatment and coping methods for themselves and their loved ones in the daily treatment of atopic skin conditions with the help of scientific experts such as dermatologists and psychologists. From tips about how to apply cream without it being a chore, how to monitor and recognise skin flare ups in order to prepare and how to take control of the chronic disease, these Atopy Schools aim to give children and families the confidence to better live with their sensitive skin.
CORRECTIVE MAKE UP WORKSHOPS Because facial imperfections can negatively impact quality of life, La Roche-Posay has been involved in corrective make up workshops for over 20 years, helping patients overcome the often confidence-crippling effect of visible skin conditions. These workshops offer these people support and help them gain independence and the courage to take charge of their condition through corrective make up in over 113 workshops worldwide.
La Roche-Posay s corrective make up is specifically formulated for ultra sensitive skin, meaning that it is kind to topical conditions and doesn t aggravate existing problems.
Led by make up artists specially trained in the psychological field, these workshops focus on teaching the patient how to manage their own corrective make up at home in an easy and effective manner, so that they can regain a sense of control over their condition and have the self-confidence to take on the day.
