The words we use (our choice of words, our conciseness)

READING EMOTIONS IS A SKILL AND IT TAKES TIME AND ENERGY TO DEVELOP. IT COMES FROM OBSERVING AND RECOGNISING NOT ONLY THE VERBAL LANGUAGE SOMEONE USES, BUT ALSO THE NON- VERBAL LANGUAGE.

The tone and inflection that we use to say the words (how loud we are, how our voice raises and drops, our emphasis on words)

The body language we use (our eye contact, facial expres- sions, posture, how we use our arms and legs)
